Case Study 1:
Lester's Clothing Stores
When this 60 year-old Metro-area retailer celebrated the Grand Opening of their new 15,000 sq. ft. Huntington location, I spearheaded, planned and executed all advertising and events surrounding the celebration. Efforts included coordination of a 4 page congratulatory spread in the NY Times supported by over 40 vendors, targeted advertising blitz, promotional contests such as American Idol Live ticket giveaway, in-store activities, live talent, thousands of free branded giveaways, and a media-attended ribbon cutting ceremony. The store saw it's largest sales volume in history during this period. P.R. efforts which I coordinated in conjunction with media and the Huntington Chamber of Commerce, resulted in televised and published coverage of the event. After just 10 days of business, the store had won over 2,800 new customers..
